Last week Hidden University’s production crew joined forces with the Garden State Reps & Visual Manifest Media to create the first episode of a revolutionary movement called the UCYPHE on Kean University’s college campus. UCYPHE features various different artists, musicians, and poets who all come together to achieve the goal of representing their most uniquely organic form of art performing live in front of the camera along with the presence of different instruments. This first episode included a poet by the name of Kendall (@SavonThePoet) who uses a very intriguing alphabetical poem speaking profoundly about life as well as an acoustic cover of singer/producer Pharrell’s latest hit single “Get Lucky” by (@ItsEveryone) with the peaceful sounds of the guitar melody playing in the background. One of our personal favorites, Lewie2Stacks (@Lewie2Stacks) also joins the line-up spitting fire over a beatbox beat and opening the scene up for the emcee’s to slide in. Following Lewie was the champ, (@Jtd973) who spit some soulful lyrics over the beat of the cajon. Lastly, Donteze AKA Don Flee shut it down and closed the show spitting acapella delivering some very thought provoking lyrics.
